Marios Z. was arrested by riot police on the 11th march during a masive demonstration against the new economic measures of the greek goverment..
Marios accusations are based only on the testemony of the policeman that arrested him..he is accused of using petrol bombs while hiding his face..there are fotos showing Marios wasn’t hiding his face (on one of them is the stencil based) and inside his bag he was carrying his swimming pool stuff as he is a swimming teacher for children..the judge didn’t think the photographic evidence was enough..
Marios is in jail..In “democratic” Greece you can stay in jail before you get a trial even for 18 months..
